Thank you to everyone that attended the Red Ball 2012 on the 31st August and thank you to all the people that donated their products, time or expertise.

It was a fantastic night, hosted by Carol Vorderman and featuring performances by BGT winners Spelbound and live musical entertainment from Foxx and a DJ from Heart Radio keeping us dancing into the night.

We managed to raise nearly £17000 through the auction alone which will enable us to continue to roll out the blue skies programme nationally and bring it to Bournemouth in the spring of 2013.

We are currently planning the Red Ball 2013 and we hope to release details soon.

What a fantastic day it turned out to be despite the threat of rain. Emma and Kate woke early on sunday morning and traveled down to the start line ready for the start at 09:45. After a packed start they soon found their pace and passed the first Jon Egging Trust cheering point on tower bridge at 11:45, the second at canary wharf around 12:45 and pushed on pass the final cheering point (still smiling) on embankment before finishing in a time of 04:23:07.
